I've only been once to Thailand (in 2010) and wanted to make the most out of my visit, yet, unfortunately, it wasn't the greatest time of my life. I was stunned by the pictures I've seen in brochures and on the Internet. In light of that, I wanted to visit the paradise-like mountainous city of Thailand: Chiang Mai, yet all that paradise offered me was a frog surprising me in my room, cats that couldn't let me sleep (I was surprised that there were cats on mountains), bats that crept me out, and insects that marked their territorial spots on my body. I couldn't even swim in the infinite pool that had its water running down the mountain like a beautiful waterfall since that swimming pool was reserved for insects of all kinds. I regretted not going to Puckett instead! However, I did enjoy the tiger land in there. And in Bangkok, I discovered that I could not eat Thai food at all, I still don't understand why. Sadly! Yet, I did find several things fascinating about the Thai culture (especially their spirituality and devotion that are evident even in their streets).

| Something you would find sold in many street markets of Bangkok - beautiful floral bracelets |

| I had to take a picture of this! The reason I lost so much weight in Thailand (going up and down these stairs for the skywalk) |
